Tennis the game of life
LIKE Michael Edwards, in February’s letters, I am also a Life Member of the Toodyay Tennis Club and I played both competition and social tennis until I was 75 years old.
In his Toodyay Tennis Club article in last month’s Herald, Michael also told us that scientists said playing tennis could add 10 years to someone’s life.
It may be significant to note that now, at 85 years of age, I am still able to carry responsibility every week for two areas in my local church, both of which use my brain extensively.
Like Michael, I urge everyone to give tennis a try.
